Fegocomosa UK Chapter held it’s by monthly meeting on 28th May 2011 at the 805 Restaurant on Old Kent Road, London. The following members were in attendance:

Updates on previous minutes:
The association secretary made contact with the national president during his recent trip to Nigeria. The president was able to confirm that the present student population at FGCM was in excess of 1000. This increase in number was brought about by the admission of JSS students this academic year.
New items of discussion
Elections
By majority support, it was decided to disband the Interim Executive Committee and hold elections in September. Thus, all members are advised that elections will hold on 24th September. The interim executive committee will continue to hold office until 24 September 2011. The following offices are up for election:
Chairman,
Vice Chairman,
Secretary
Deputy Secretary
Financial Secretary
Deputy Finance Secretary
Social Secretary
Welfare Secretary
All association members are eligible to contest these elections.
Association’s Newsletter
Dupe Alaga will edit and publish the association’s newsletter. The newsletter will be publish on the association’s website and distributed to members via email. Contributions to the newsletter are welcome from all members.
Association’s Finance
Finance Secretary Olumide Junaid informed the meeting that as of 28th May 2011, the association had £724 in its coffers. Members are encouraged to continue to pay their membership dues.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Saturday 30th July 2011 in Manchester, England. Ik Nwosu will be hosting.
